ABSTRACT

The rapid development of urbanization has changed land use types, which not only brings benefits to human beings, but also brings a series of environmental problems, such as biodiversity changes, hydrological system changes, and even negative impacts such as ecological degradation, traffic congestion, and urban heat island effect. Among these influences, the well-known urban heat island effect, i.e., the phenomenon that the temperature of urban areas is higher than the surrounding rural areas, is one of the important cases of human influence on the earth system. In this paper, the factors affecting the urban heat island effect are analyzed and the research content and direction are determined. The present research situation at home and abroad is analyzed and summarized.
