ABSTRACT

China aims to have carbon dioxide emissions peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060, which requires every industry should reduce carbon emissions. A logistics park is a logistics facility group and logistics activity organization center that realizes the conversion of goods between trunk transportation and branch transportation. Location of the logistics park is closely related to the total carbon emissions of truck. The traditional logistics park selection mainly considers time and cost of transportation, less considers the carbon emissions of trucks. Based on the fuel consumption of highway transportation truck and urban distribution truck, this paper proposes an analysis model between the carbon emissions of trucks and the location of logistics parks. By calculating the carbon emissions of trucks in different transportation scenarios, the following conclusion is obtained: the closer the logistics park is to the expressway, the smaller the total carbon emissions of trucks. The conclusion provides an effective idea for optimizing the layout of logistics parks and reducing carbon emissions in transportation.
