ABSTRACT
With the acceleration of urbanization, the efficient utilization of water resources in urbanized areas has become a research hotspot. In order to improve the utilization efficiency of water resources, save water and reduce emissions and improve the quality of water environment, the government of Pukou District of Nanjing City has carried out water-saving practice. Based on the typical case of the water-saving initiative in Pukou District of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, this paper summarizes the relevant experience, and puts forward scientific innovative methods and standard measures from the aspects of water-saving system, concept, technology, consciousness, and engineering. This study provide reference for the practice of the initiative of Constructing a National County-level Water-saving Society in China.
