ABSTRACT

With the development of the rural economy, the amount of agricultural solid wastes generated is increasing year by year, which will cause pollution to the soil and groundwater environment, so there is an urgent need for rational disposal of agricultural solid waste. This paper mainly reviews the common ways to recycle the agricultural solid wastes, among which returning straws to the field is now the mainstream way to recycle the agricultural planting solid wastes due to its simple operation and low costs for using straws to make feed, and fuel; and other ways are still steadily developing, such as making manure into organic fertilizers, feed and biogas are the main methods of harmless disposal of livestock breeding solid wastes, encouraging research and development of biodegradable plastic films, and promoting the appropriate technologies to remove the film to prevent “white” pollution. This study provides a reference for the management and disposal of agricultural solid wastes by studying the pollution characteristics of agricultural solid wastes and the recycling progress.
