ABSTRACT

As specified in the 13th Five-Year plan issued by the Chinese government, we must pay attention to the application of advanced technology in teaching, the cloud computing, big data, and integrate other advanced technologies into the cause of education, so as to improve the level of science and technology on campus, promote the realization of smart education. Construction pf smart campuses is based on the Internet, to support students’ learning and teachers’ teaching by advanced technologies, achieving smart teaching and learning at the same time. This initiative mainly includes construction of a smart teaching environment, teaching resources and teaching service, and smart campus management. It is not only an upgrading of digital campus construction, but also a comprehensive improvement of information technologies with the arrival of Internet + and the Internet of things (IoT) era so as to promote the construction of an overall intelligent environment (Zhang 2018). Relying on technologies of 5G, IoT, cloud computing, big data and other advanced information engineering technologies, we can carry out a full range of campus construction, promote the scientific decision-making, build an open teaching environment, and provide teachers and students a more convenient and comfortable place to live, work, study. This paper mainly analyzes how to convert digital campus to smart campus, and analyzes the transformation of the mode to establish a comprehensive service system based on mining and analysis of daily behavioral data of students and teachers. It can not only effectively improve the utilization of data, but also enhance sharing of data, promote scientific decision-making, help the schools to decipher students’ and teachers’ behaviors, and hence improve school management and educational quality (Cao 2019).
