ABSTRACT

Recent technological developments have made it easier for teaching and learning to transform. In today's interconnected world, there are no longer any physical restrictions on receiving an education by enrolling in a school. Thousands of courses are presently offered online that don’t require formal attendance. As a result, this “open learning” paradigm is a leader in cutting-edge research in many fields. Computer science is one subject area where the benefits of open learning may be demonstrated. As a primary paradigm for problem-solving and information collecting in online learning, crowdsourced programs like Stack Overflow, Wikipedia, and CourseEra have arisen. These programs give a lot of benefits to its users, such as the ability to quickly respond to questions about programming and to contribute and express one's own thoughts. They still have a number of shortcomings, though. For instance, it was thought that Stack Overflow was not a good application for beginning programmers. Therefore, proper in-depth study is required to improve the education sector using crowdsourcing and crowdfunding.
