Community-Based Psychosocial Support: A Process for the Protection of Vulnerable Populations During COVID-19

The chapter describes the most vulnerable and their living condition. The chapter then explains how disasters impact this population. It builds a case for existing international bodies that ensure the rights of the most vulnerable. It concludes with ways where those that live in extreme poverty are able to cope with the sequelae of huge disasters such as COVID-19.
