ABSTRACT

Thermal damage in high geotemperature tunnels has become a hot issue in underground engineering. To study the high geotemperature tunnel cooling systems, the Nige tunnel was taken as the engineering background. The cooling capacity and the insulation thickness of the high-temperature tunnel refrigeration system were analyzed using theoretical analysis and field tests. The tunnel refrigeration system is established, the cooling capacity per unit time is 1209 kJ, and the thickness of the rubber and plastic insulation material of the tunnel ventilation and cooling system is not less than 12mm. The application results show that the cooling effect of the tunnel refrigeration system is remarkable.
