ABSTRACT

When the hydraulic fill soft soil foundation is a deep super soft soil foundation and the surface layer is super soft soil, the bearing capacity of the surface layer is very small or even zero, and it is difficult for manual and construction equipment to work on it. The existing calculation theory of the bearing capacity of super soft soil foundations reinforced by a bamboo grid and sand cushion is not perfect. (1) Taking bamboo net and super soft soil foundation, the ultimate bearing capacity of bamboo grid and soft soil foundation is this paper determined, and sand cushion, bamboo grid and soft soil layer are taken as a double-layer foundation and deduced the formula of ultimate bearing capacity of bamboo grid and sand cushion reinforced super soft soil foundation. (2) For the field load test results of Yang and Cho, through the bearing capacity calculation method based on the diffusion of the bamboo grid and sand cushion, the fitting relationship between the diffusion angle and the thickness width ratio and bearing ratio is given. The average relative error of the bearing capacity of a composite foundation is 3.84%. (3) According to the double-layer theory, the fitting relationship between the impact coefficient and the thickness width ratio and bearing ratio is given. The relative error of the bearing capacity of the composite foundation is 6.94%. (4) The relative error of the calculation results based on the surface bearing capacity of the bamboo grid is the largest. When the angle between the bamboo net tension and the horizontal is taken as 10°, the calculation results are generally small, with the maximum size of 34.42%; and that is taken as 20°, the calculation results are generally large, with the maximum size of 49.95%.
