ABSTRACT

From the perspective of resilience, we analyze the problems of old communities in urbanization and use BIM+GIS technology to help old communities complete resilience transformation. The BIM model and GIS model are integrated to help the community assess and maintain the safety of buildings and lifeline systems by relying on BIM 3D visualization and simulability. The accessibility of emergency shelters and planning of the best evacuation path were analyzed by using GIS simulation. The community selection of the best location for emergency security facilities was assisted using optimal site analysis. To ensure no blind spots in the community, the location of emergency lighting, security surveillance, and safety signs were selected using the model's 3D visual field analysis. The ultimate goal is to improve the resilience of the old community.
