ABSTRACT

This paper analyzes and studies the multi-field coupling theory and mechanism of frozen soil as well as the dynamic change process of temperature field, moisture field, and stress field in a freezing process according to the research results of scholars in various countries on frozen soil multi-field. The research on multi-physical field coupling of frozen soil is a complex, multi-physical field and multi-disciplinary field, this paper is mainly based on reviews from the aspects of Hydro-Thermo-Vapor-Mechanical (HTVM) field coupling. This summary is conducive to promoting the study of the soil freezing process and the frozen soil coupling mechanism in the cold area to promote the deep-level and multi-dimensional understanding of the multi-field coupling dynamic process of the soil freezing process.
