ABSTRACT

The rapid growth of versatile, massive volume of data is generally termed ‘Big-Data,’ which has taken control of every sector. Global digitisation and smartphone utilisation help increase the online mode of operation. The immense advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) and other technologies insists on big data’s secure process. The structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data are generated in different online operations and exponentially increase. The conventional relational data model has a limitation in handling big data. Therefore, the new technology, the “not only SQL (NoSQL),” has been introduced into the digital world to store and retrieve big data methodically. The existing scope of security and privacy of big data are significant operations issues. The blockchain is a peer-to-peer digital ledger that works with tamperproof security measures in a distributed network environment. The data writing performance of blockchain is relatively slow. This paper primarily proposed to minimise the gap between the performance and security of big data. A model is proposed to integrate the NoSQL and blockchain network to increase big data processing speed and security.
