ABSTRACT

Over the last decade, persistent environmental conditions have prompted study and development of electric automobiles. The charging facility and time is important concern for electric vehicle as it is considerably very much high. This makes electric vehicle unreliable to continue its journey during emergency time or at any time as and when require. The dynamic wireless charging facility is found to be one of the solution for charging the vehicle while driving itself. This wireless charging system is based upon law of electromagnetic induction and consist of two inductive coils namely transmitting and receiving coil. The transmitting coil is attached to the road surface, while the receiving coil is attached to the electric vehicle’s base. Vehicle coils cut the flux produced by the transmitting coil when they sweep across the road surface, and due to the law of induction, an emf is induced in the receiving coil, and electricity is transmitted wirelessly. Furthermore, the vehicle’s battery is charged using the transmitted electric energy.
