ABSTRACT
Flexible sensors have gained massive attention in extensive research and development due to their practical use in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoTs), and wearable electronic devices. Flexible sensors are chosen over conventional because of their capability to use on soft and irregular surfaces, quickly turn, twist, and fold without losing function and high sensitivity. This chapter outlines the basic working mechanisms and sensor parameters. In addition, four various types of materials used in flexible sensors are discussed. Finally, various types of flexible sensors and their applications are presented.
