ABSTRACT

Since the origin of life biochemical systems have always been a part of our day-to-day life. In and around a human body various biological processes are continuously running; not only that there are various types of processes that going on in various biological systems of plants, animals, microbes etc. To understand their origin, energy changes, formation of products and intermediates, free energies, and enthalpies it is necessary to study the intricacies of these processes and one of the ways to do it is to understand them chemically. The following discussion is based on the same, in which some basic understanding of chemistry is followed by discussing some instances of biological processes and how they proceed chemically. Furthermore, using chemistry to understand biology, the ways in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) can also be used to understand chemistry or molecular biology, or rather how it can be linked with bio-chemical research, are also discussed. Artificial Intelligence has made things easier and faster in predicting molecular structures, chemical bonds, protein sequencing, drug-receptor binding, etc., in biochemical and drug research to reach to conclusions.
