ABSTRACT

Solid waste (SW) is one of the remarkable environmental concerns and potentially affects the production cost. Effective SW management is critical for attaining sustainable development in municipalities. This trend has been growing around the world, forecasted by experts and been expected to continue into the future. Industrial solid waste (ISW), defined as any solid material rendered useless during a manufacturing process, is regarded as a global environmental issue. Efficient solutions, as well as serious steps to address it and reduce its environmental load and impact, are required to address this issue. Valorization of waste is a process of changing residues into products at much significant value. Waste valorization is one of the current raised research area that has grabbed great attention over past few years. Using green processing technologies, many types of waste can be transfigured into high-value products. One example of this technology is screening. If the waste in garbage, the trash cans can be separated to self-sort trash and collect garbage that can be recycled to be a useful product. The results can involve quality chemicals, materials, fuels, and energy, as well as many other green beneficial products. Valorization of waste is the solution to a more protected environment, minimized production costs, which definitely affect economy as well, and pushing the manufacturing industries toward the higher sustainable, valuable position.
