ABSTRACT

A truly modern health care system which is accessible from home makes use of e-mail: it always been a dream of every person to make life easy and to avoid standing in long queues in hospital for medical help. Use of Internet of Things (IoT) in the healthcare sector has made such dreams a reality. A system that utilizes IOT to monitor health, store and share data whenever needed, monitor patients around the clock, building sensor tracker movement used for sending alerts for emergency services whenever needed and using wireless-based application technology that save time and money is Internet of Medical Things (IOMT). IoT is triggering a revolution in the healthcare system, which is occurring because patients are becoming increasingly connected and producing more data, which enables clinicians to detect patients' needs and provide solutions to those needs more effectively than ever before. This chapter will review and explain the use of AI algorithms in IoT-enabled healthcare systems with specific applications, as well as discussing their benefits and drawbacks.
