ABSTRACT
Location Recommender System is a Web Application that recommends the best places to visit in and around a location. Once the User logs in, his/her location coordinates are obtained and the nearby places are listed down based on the Location-Aware Recommendation model built; the user can also do the same for a custom location. The system displays the recommendations along with ratings. The system interface displays these suggestions based upon Machine Learning and Data Analysis tools: Recommender system and optimal search algorithm to obtain the finest nearby places with minimal buffering and time consumption. User-Item-based collaborative filtering algorithm is also used to give a personalised recommendation.
