ABSTRACT

The Fenton process can be easily carried out using the simplest laboratory equipment, such as a beaker and a stirrer. However, depending on the modification of the process, the reactor in which the process is carried out can also be improved. In addition, thanks to the use of appropriate equipment, its efficiency can be increased and used in industry. Among the large family of Fenton reactors, fixed or fluidized-bed reactor filled, reactor to electro-Fenton process with the cathode and anode or UV lamp to the photo-Fenton process are the most popular. Additional energy can also be obtained by ultrasound and cavitation.
