ABSTRACT
The chapter discusses the theory of using loose abrasives in the form of elastically embedded meso scale spheres for micro finishing applications. State-of-the-art processing modes for such embedded abrasives, using the principles of two-body abrasion, three-body abrasion, and erosion, with specific case studies from prior arts, are covered.
