ABSTRACT

Cancer is one of the world's deadliest diseases due to its ability to destroy normal body cells and spread from one organ to another. Early detection and diagnosis are among the most important stages for receiving the necessary treatment and increasing the chances of overcoming cancer. On this basis, we highlight artificial intelligence to diagnose and detect cancer in its early stages through medical imaging such as magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and X-ray images. This chapter presents an overview of the different methodologies for the classification and detection of cancer with the help of deep learning and machine learning techniques.
