ABSTRACT

In recent times, many agricultural industries have started using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to improve productivity in farming and for other reasons such as less human intervention, time and cost. Today a driving force behind increase in agriculture production is low cost IoT. The adoption of IoT solutions for agriculture is growing constantly and Business The mini tiller in the current market is powered by fuel engines or electricity. The main problem in the electric powered tiller is expensive and not affordable by farmers. Hence in this work, the design and development of IoT enabled mini tiller has been undertaken with the goal of commercializing technology at a low cost. The activities include development of concepts followed by selection of concept using a weighted matrix multi-criteria decision-making method. Finally, an effort is made to develop a prototype of the IoT enabled mini tiller machine. In this work power management data, humidity data are accessible from the sensors and it is stored in Google cloud data storage. These functions are controlled by the Arduino Uno board along with Arduino programming. Mobile access application is developed to control and monitor the IoT enabled mini tiller machine.
