ABSTRACT
Various operations can be performed on images using rapid quantum image processing techniques. Quantum parallel computing can be done using quantum state superposition and entanglement. In this chapter, the quantum superiority concept is explained and use of the quantum image classification and recognition process is analyzed. The challenges of noisy intermediate-scale quantum are described and solutions provided.
