ABSTRACT
In a global context, the ‘Smart City’ is consisted of the need-based framework which eventually results in a key transformation of urban economy of any nation. Industry 4.0 tools have explicit challenges and an observatory obstacle in implementing the uniform ‘Smart City Model’ to all the urban economies altogether. Industry 5.0 is an upcoming way forward in revolution through interaction of human intelligence and cognitive computing capabilities to the synergetic compliance of all smart domains which have to be pooled with robotic and manmade (artificial) intelligence capabilities. It functions as a catalyst for more responsive, responsible and ever-sustainable environment in the near future which is also required for predicted ‘smart city’ model of this proposed study. This proposed Industry 5.0-enabled ‘Smart City Model’ is supposedly to perform even in the worst drastic situations of pandemic like lockdown in near future if so. This model is thoroughly collaborative with the current smart city models (digitalization and automation based) and study ascertains what should be the proposed and benchmarked super smart city model enabled with Industry 5.0 over and above study highlights the key challenges and bottlenecks of the current smart city models. This study is based on secondary data (content) obtained with the assistance of ‘keyword search analysis' and furthermore, the content analysis technique has been applied to fulfill the objectives. The study is also highly significant that being ‘smart city’ is the only way forward for transforming the quality of life of all citizens and promoting the economic well-being of any nation.
