ABSTRACT

The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was applied to determine the optimal parametric intermixes of the deburring operation for having better machining performance. The optimal cutting conditions were determined using non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm and were later validated using TOPSIS. A conveyor belt is a system of mechanical components that support and push a belt, which then transports the bulk material. Selection of the most apposite conveyor belt material usually results in the lowest total cost per unit weight over its effective service life. Reinforcement or a carcass in the belt provides the required tensile strength and impact resistance to the belt, imparting rigidity for load support, and helping in joining the belt and force transmission.
