ABSTRACT

The effects of pre-saturated water treatment, cement silica fume coating treatment, and polymer styrene-acrylic emulsion treatment of recycled aggregates with three different pre-treatments on the working properties, mechanical properties, and durability of concrete were compared and analyzed. The microhardness of the interface structure of recycled concrete with different pre-treatment methods was tested by a microhardness tester. The results show that the three aggregate pre-treatment methods can improve the performance of concrete, and the grouting treatment and pre-saturated water treatment can improve the compressive strength of concrete; The coating treatment can improve the microhardness of the interface between the old aggregate and the new slurry and reduce the width of the interface transition zone. The improvement effect on the transition zone between the old aggregate and the old slurry is not obvious; Coating treatment can reduce its concrete shrinkage to a certain extent and improve its frost resistance.
