ABSTRACT

The stability of the tunnel is studied according to the different location distributions of karst caves in the karst area. Based on Midas/GTS finite element software, a three-dimensional coupling model of karst caverns, linings, and tunnels was established. The deformation of the monitoring position, the stress of the supporting structure, and the deformation of the surrounding rock are compared and analyzed. The influence of karst cave distribution on the distance between the karst cave and the tunnel is studied.
