ABSTRACT

To solve the storage pool water in a large number of silts, suspended solids, and heavy metals in bottom sediment serious problems, combined with the bottom sediments of anti-scouring feature, it is expected to change the outlet of the negative pressure water flushing system size, water diversion chamber, flushing corridor, and the length of the slope, and make it more reasonable, thus to achieve more efficient desilting effects in flushing water. By using CFD software to carry out a three-dimensional numerical simulation of the scour flow in the flushing system and combining it with the relevant physical scour test, the flow velocity and flow pattern of the bottom water flow were obtained, the appropriate hydraulic indexes were established to evaluate the scour capacity of the flow, and the optimization suggestions of the flushing system were given for the design of this kind of engineering.
