ABSTRACT

Based on the equivalent single degree of freedom method and energy method, a simplified calculation method for the maximum elastic-plastic displacement of steel plates with different constraints under uniform blast load is proposed in this paper. The calculation results are compared with the numerical simulation results obtained by the finite element analysis software Abaqus. The results show that the error between the simplified calculation method proposed in this paper and the experimental value is within 8%, proving that the rigid-plastic model has high accuracy in calculating the maximum displacement of different restrained steel plates, and can be used to evaluate the anti-explosion ability of steel plates.
