ABSTRACT
This paper presents the current situation of local stone carvings in Lianyungang and the protective research on stone carvings, and analyzes the impact of local climate and environment on stone carvings, discussing the mechanism of damage to stone carvings in terms of human activities, natural physical activity damage, chemical reaction effect, and biological effect. Various measures are proposed to address the current situation and problems, including the establishment of protective facilities around the area, stone carving cleaning work, and anti-weathering materials and measures.
