Generalized knowledge measure based on hesitant fuzzy sets with application to MCDM

Hesitant fuzzy entropy and hesitant fuzzy knowledge measures structurally show the soft duals character. We introduce generalized versions of the hesitant fuzzy knowledge measure (HFKM). We also observe the advantage of the proposed generalized (HFKM) over classical hesitant fuzzy entropy measures (HFEMs)/HFKMs. Further, we use the new generalized HFKM in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM). The MCDM procedure utilizes the “bidirectional projection method” regarding the hesitant fuzzy data.
