ABSTRACT

The concept of circular economy has been the center of attention recently, both by scholars, and policymakers. However, there is no single definition of this concept. Different people have interpreted and explained it in different ways. This manuscript looks to analyze and compare prominent concepts related to Biosphere through Leontief theory and Moore Dialectical Method to propose a new definition of the Circular economy. This paper critically examines the asymmetrical relationship between the biosphere and the capitalism. We discuss in detail how it produces a substantial demand for waste disposal in the future. Finally, by linking the ecological and economic justification, it will illuminate the diagnostic features of the circular economy paradigm and propose a useful insight.
