ABSTRACT

In order to comprehensively, quickly, and accurately detect the pavement health condition in real-time, this paper proposes the evaluation method of the pavement service quality. Based on the pavement service index (PSI), the dynamic detection technology based on acoustics realizes the rapid, ac-curate, and automatic detection and evaluation of the pavement health condition. In this paper, the evaluation model of the pavement acoustic index (PAI) is established, and the change of tire-pavement noise intensity caused by pavement characteristics is characterized by studying the acoustic index (AI). The pavement flatness index (PFI) model is established again. Based on a large number of dynamic tire pressure data measured in the experiment, the frequency domain weighted filter is used as the key technology to reflect the degree of interval pavement flatness, namely, the flatness index (FI). Finally, a large number of test data are collected and analyzed. Compared with the analysis results of the pavement service quality model, it can be concluded that the road driving conditions reflected by the dynamic detection and evaluation method of pavement service quality can be objectively and quickly obtained the evaluation results. This method has the advantages of low energy consumption, low cost, and high efficiency, and is suitable for quality evaluate in the road network level.
