ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we introduce some generalized Boyd-Wong-type contractive conditions and establish fixed-figure theorems such as fixed-point, fixed-circle and fixed-ellipse results in metric spaces. Some examples are provided to validate the results. The mappings for which these results are applicable are not necessarily continuous and the completeness of the metric space under consideration is not necessary.
