ABSTRACT

Everyone needs agriculture to survive. It’s the only industry that benefits the country beyond agriculture. It provides food, raw materials, and jobs to a large section of the people. Archaic agricultural techniques have been supplanted by modern technology and equipment for thousands of years. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can provide farmers with real-time data from their crops to pinpoint regions that require irrigation, fertilizer, or insect control. Data analytics is critical for assisting decision-makers in making business decisions. The primary purpose of this research project is to use data analytics to provide useful insights regarding agricultural yields. Principal component analysis (PCA) is used with data analytics to discover the factor that most affects agricultural production. PCA found that total rainfall had the greatest impact on agricultural production since it captures the highest variability of 46.89%, followed by temperature which captures 25.09% of the variability. The three major factors influencing crop yield account for 90.16% of the total variance.
