ABSTRACT
Development of technologies, and smart devices are very common in everyday life. Smart designs have benefited from the development of gadgets that can connect to the Internet and transmit data. The main constraint with lockers has forced them to remember locker passwords or misplacing locker keys is a widespread issue at workplaces and colleges. Also, the pre-assignment of lockers can be a waste of space for those who might not use them that often. So, we have designed Smart DigiLocker that can be accessed using an RFID card, which can be incorporated into the ID card itself. A green LED on the locker would indicate vacancy and a red LED occupancy. On the back end, we store locker usage information. As an added layer of security, the intruder details are sent to the locker occupant via SMS and email. With this Smart DigiLocker, anyone can use any unoccupied locker safely. Also, one common master card shall be possessed by the authority in case one loses their ID card. Moreover, it is quite cost-efficient.
