ABSTRACT

Zero-dimensional nanomaterials (NMs) are another name for nanoparticles. Nanoparticles have several advantages in modern medicine. This will serve as a broad introduction to the role of nanoparticles in medicine rather than an in-depth examination in the future. Furthermore, the focus of this study was on technologies that have either already proceeded to clinical application or have undergone in vivo testing. This study has examined medical uses of nanoparticles under the broad areas of medical imaging and drug/gene delivery. Readers have been directed to the numerous wide-ranging assessments currently accessible within each application area wherever feasible. Finally, the influence of nanoparticles in contemporary medicine on the environment and society has been examined.
