ABSTRACT
This final chapter builds on the evidence from the previous discussions to draw a picture of the scope and opportunities for, and the sources of resistance to, social and economic innovation in an increasingly, eventually potentially fully, automated economy. Based on previous chapters’ tenor, it notes options and their pathways, drawing on the concept of mission-orientation, including examples adopted elsewhere.
