ABSTRACT

In this digital era of data, Artificial Intelligence is going to drive in the upcoming future based on Digital Twin (DT) for most of the Engineering Applications. In this research work Waste management is considered as undoubtedly this is a highly challenging and complex operation, particularly in extremely big cities in India. It consumes a lot of human labour as well as resources like gasoline and electricity. A lot of waste is being generated in various forms every minute. The amount of garbage produced overall is growing, which would be harmful to the ecosystem. This makes it necessary to employ a fresh approach with the aid of cutting-edge technologies. As of today, there is no effective mechanism available that helps an individual to contribute to waste management. The advancements in technology in recent days have reached sky-high and they can perform tasks that are highly risky for human beings to do. DT-based Artificial Intelligence (AL)/Machine Learning (ML) is one of those recent popular technologies that are the buzzwords in recent times. Therefore, why not use these technologies to segregate waste that can create a safe and clean environment. AI and ML are techniques that can help to solve these problems of waste classification. These advanced technologies are easy to implement with the help of a large database of libraries. It is known that these methods will enhance the outcomes of classification. Dealing with societal problems like waste management with AI/ML technologies along with DT will be the new advancement and can reduce manpower along with safeguarding health.
