ABSTRACT

The term “digital twin” refers to biological and simulated devices or system-based representatives emulating, tomography, or “twinning” the lifecycle of a bodily commodity. This physical entity could be an entity, a procedure, a mortal, or a feature linked to humans. Each twin is connected to its material identical through a unique key, establishing a personal relationship between the digital twin and its replica. While this technology is still in its infancy in medicine and healthcare, it is currently being developed to optimize several aviation and manufacturing processes. It is being designed and sold for commercial use. The chapter is a survey of technology usage in various domains.
