ABSTRACT
Pickling baths containing hydrochloric acid are commonly used to eliminate corrosion products from metal working. However, mild steels can be damaged by the corrosion process in these cases. To prevent over-pickling, steel specimens should be promptly removed from the pickling bath after removing the iron oxides. Above pickling can result in thoughtful destruction and compromise the physical assets of the metal [1].
