ABSTRACT

Based on the existing express transportation network composed of road, air, and railway, this paper analyzes and considers the changes in multi-mode express transportation paths in China after carbon emission and the introduction of high-speed rail freight. This paper establishes the network path optimization model. The model considers the enterprise's direct transportation cost, transit cost, and carbon emission cost. In addition, we set the compensation cost penalty for the delayed delivery of goods. According to the characteristics of the multi-mode transportation network routing optimization problem, a genetic algorithm is designed to solve the example. The route selection methods of same-day, overnight, and third-day express delivery networks, including high-speed rail freight, are obtained with considering carbon emission.
