ABSTRACT

For urban rail transit, the running speed of trains is limited by many levels, including signal systems (i.e., signal system speed protection), vehicle systems (i.e., vehicle speed protection), and line systems (e.g., station spacing, speed limit profile). In an actual design, the coordination and matching of the speed control of different professional systems need to be paid attention to maximize the performance of the complex system and improve the overall operation level of a line. In this paper, combined with the method of matter element analysis, an evaluation method is given by analyzing the matching factors of multi-discipline speed control, and the effectiveness of the evaluation method is discussed with case analysis.
