ABSTRACT

The development of pedestrian simulation theory and techniques provides a new method for analysis, evaluation, and decision-making of traffic flow organization in architectural design. To carry out pedestrian flow analysis in crowded places, the flow parameters of pedestrian arrivals were collected from a large university teaching building as the simulation object. The parametric analysis was carried out using the SPSS single-sample K-S test method. The normal function model was obtained by fitting Matlab, which was used as the initial parameter of the MassMotion simulation to simulate the pedestrian flow characteristics of the teaching building. The experimental analysis of pedestrian movement characteristics of the teaching building is experimentally analyzed, and suggestions for pedestrian optimization in crowded places are proposed.
