ABSTRACT

Sustainable architecture has been studied by more and more scholars to cope with climate change. Among them, the zero-carbon building is the focus of the research. This paper selected a typical zero-carbon building for a quantitative sustainability assessment based on the emergy method. The result illustrates that Emergy Sustainability Indicator is in the sustainable range, which proves that the building is indeed sustainable.
