Backgrounds: Hypersensitivity is an allergic reaction that can manifest in various forms ranging from mild to life-threatening anaphylaxis. Stomatitis venenata or contact stomatitis is described as a contact allergy of the oral mucosa which can occur due to repeated contact with the causative agent. Dental and cosmetic products, dental materials, and dental therapeutic agents are the common allergens in the oral cavity. Case Reports: We report a case of stomatitis venenata due to inlay Porcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) in a 24-year-old female was diagnosed with Stomatitis Venenata. Case Management: Elimination of the causative allergen, administration of corticosteroid drugs (methylprednisolone 4 mg) with the rule of taking 2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet in the afternoon after meals, triamcinolone acetonide 0,1% topical corticosteroid three times a day after meal. Then the patient was referred to the clinical pathology laboratory for routine blood tests and referred to Dermatology and Venereology Clinic to patch tests. Conclusion: Stomatitis venenata is an allergic condition that causes hypersensitivity reactions. Prompt recognition and elimination of the causative allergen followed by an appropriate therapy would help in the complete resolution of this condition.
