ABSTRACT

The lateral anti-overturning stability of curve-beam bridges with single column piers is calculated using the simplified calculation method of Specifications for Design of Reinforced Concrete and Prestressed Concrete Bridges and Culverts. Taking a high-speed three-span box girder ramp with a single pier in Kunming China as an example, a spatial finite element model is established to analyze the anti-overturning stability of the bridge, and the influence of curvature radius, support distance, support eccentricity, temperature effect, and support settlement on the anti-overturning stability of curvilinear girder bridge with single pier was studied, hoping to bring some reference for preventing the anti-overturning of the curvilinear bridge with single pier.
