ABSTRACT

The PBA method is commonly used in subway station construction. As one of the main load-bearing structures, the stress of the side pile is complex. To obtain the stress variation law of the side pile, the New Botanical Garden Station of Xi’an Metro Line 8 is taken as an example to monitor the reinforcement stress of the side pile and the soil pressure on the pile side. The monitoring scheme was introduced, and the monitoring results varied from the construction stage of the station pile to the construction stage of the secondary lining buckle arch were analyzed. The stress characteristics of the side pile structure were obtained. The steel stress of the side pile showed an increasing trend, and the change rate was faster during the backfilling procedure of the crown beam and the false arch. The stress of the steel bar on the earth side and the neutral surface was compressed, and the steel bar on the back side was pulled. The earth pressure on the pile side was the largest in the middle of the plate and the bottom longitudinal beam.
