ABSTRACT

To provide information on the stability of the surrounding rock and the state of the supporting structure required for construction in time to ensure construction safety and improve the construction efficiency, monitoring and measurement have been carried out on tunnel surrounding rock displacement and vault settlement with Jiulianshan Tunnel Project as the background. According to the analysis of the corresponding measured data from the monitoring and the numerical simulation results on the tunnel settlement after reinforcement, the surface subsidence and vault displacement were large during tunnel excavation. After the surface and surrounding rock were supported by acoustic grouting and advanced pipe and shed methods, the tunnel settlement displacement met the specification requirements.
