The beam storage technology of the precast beam yard is the key link that affects the construction organization and management of the owner and the construction side. The storage capacity of a precast beam yard plays a decisive role in the contradiction between temporary cost and the construction period. The temporary land acquisition area of a precast beam yard is seriously lacking, and the temporary cost is high in urban rail transit construction. The use of double-layer beam storage technology can reduce land acquisition and demolition. The precast beam yard with a small area can effectively improve the beam storage capacity and solve the problem of inconsistency between beam-producing speed and construction speed to avoid idling and save the construction period. Based on the precast beam yard of Qingdao rail transit line 13, the double layer beam storage construction technology of precast U-beam is put forward and carried out by designing and construction; thereby, the production task of the beam yard was finished with quality and warranty period. The practice has proved that the technical scheme of double-layer beam storage of the project is feasible, which not only improves the utilization rate of equipment and land resources but also has obvious economic and social benefits. This technology can provide a reference for the future construction of urban precast beam yards.
